The Kentucky General Assembly passed House Joint Resolution 19 earlier this month which allows for “designating of honorary names for various roads and bridges and directing the placement of honorary roadside signs.”
One of those signs will be placed on U.S. 641 in Murray and will read “Home of Tim Masthay, 2011 Super Bowl Champion”.
The resolution passed 91-3, and was sponsored by Richard Henderson, District 74 representative. Other local honors in the resolution included designating the Benton Bypass of U.S. 641 in Marshal County the “J.R. Gray Bypass.”
