I wonder if Morgan Newton is getting tired of battling for the starting quarterback job yet?
The soon to be junior lost out to Mike Hartline last year, but he will have to hold off grayshirt Maxwell Smith.
Smith is a 6-foot-4, 210-pound quarterback from Birmingham (Van Nuys, Calif.).

There are several starting jobs up for grabs beginning this week at Commonwealth Stadium, including the running back job, but I think the quarterback job will be one to keep an eye on.
Will Morgan Newton begin to show the signs of why he was a 4-5 star quarterback in high school, or will he settle for second best again?
