In a previous article this week, I predicted that sophomore defensive lineman Dee Liner would start reeling in more offers very soon to go with his lone Kentucky offer.
Well, that trend began today.
Right before his scheduled trip to Tuscaloosa to check out Alabama’s spring practice, Liner (Class of 2013, Muscle Shoals, Ala.) received a call from his head coach.
“Auburn called my coach before we got to Alabama. He told me they offered me,” he said excitedly.
The National Champions join the ‘Cats as the duo to offer Liner thus far.
While Liner is excited and humble about his offer from Auburn, he still wants to continue to get better and keep a level head.
“(The offer) feels great, but I’m not going to worry about it right now. I just want to keep doing what I’m doing and get better. Hopefully more offers will roll in.”
Like I said, those offers are just beginning.
This weekend, Liner will be showing his skills off in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome for a Nike Combine. With coaches flocking from across the Southeast, he is bound to add a few more in the next few weeks.
Nation of Blue is the place to find out if he adds any more offers!
