2011 RB Derek Bishop from Trinity HS has accepted a “preferred walk-on” spot with the Cats next year. He ran 249 times for 1,568 yards and 17 TDs as a [URL=”http://blogs.courier-journal.com/jodydemling/2011/04/15/trinity-rb-headed-to-kentucky/”]Junior[/URL], then rushed for 1,758 yards on 262 carries with 27 touchdowns his [URL=”http://kentucky.247sports.com/Article/Trinity-RB-says-hell-play-for-Cats-22425″]Senior[/URL] year.
Bishop chose a walk-on spot at Kentucky over a walk-on spot at Louisville.
