One of the top quarterbacks in the Class of 2012 is already off the board.
Wednesday, Zeke Pike (Class of 2012, Dixie Heights HS, Kent.) chose the Tigers over Purdue, Tennessee, Michigan, and Arkansas; Clemson and North Carolina were supposed to be added to be his top seven teams, but Wednesday afternoon he removed the two respective teams from his list.
The gunslinger also said he is committed to Auburn 100-percent, as he told Rivals.com:
”I’m done, I’m all Auburn,” said Pike. “A lot of kids commit and go other places, but you can’t commit somewhere and then go other places. Coach Trooper said it best, we’re a family now, and I’m ready to be done with it all and focus on my senior season. A lot of guys on my team won’t have the chance to go play Division I ball, so it’s my job to make this season the best for them and make a run at a state championship.”
