You probably didn’t know it, but the UFL draft is going on tonight.
The draft is being conducted on twitter, and for some reason I have been following thinking someone from Kentucky might get drafted.
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]Derrick Locke was selected by the Omaha Nighthawks as the 2nd pick of the 9th round, which was the #43 pick overall.

With the 2nd Pick in Rd 9 of the 2011 [URL=”http://hootsuite.com/dashboard#”]#UFLDraft[/URL] we select Kentucky RB Derrick Locke. @[URL=”http://hootsuite.com/dashboard#”]theUFL[/URL]
Now my guess Locke will work out for NFL teams, and one of the reasons he was drafted so late was because of this.
It will be interesting to see if there is still a lockout, and Locke decides to give the UFL a try.
