Georgia’s Rico McWilliams Wants to Find out More about the ‘Cats

Rico McWilliams is one of many top targets that coach Tee Martin is going after. The 6-0 170lb Athlete has already spoken high of Kentucky despite knowing much about the program.

“I really don’t know much about Kentucky. I have to more research on them, but I’m going to go up there on a official visit if not this summer. Kentucky and Coach Phillips are going to be good. They are mostly known for a basketball school, but I believe in his second year that he has something to prove. He wants to win every game.”

The Athete from Lovejoy High School (Hampton,Georgia) has already gained over 15 offers. But,for Kentucky, McWilliams believes the ‘Cats are coming after him really hard.

“Coach (Tee) Martin talks to me about two-three times a week. I like Coach Martin because it’s good to see a coach that knows how to win. It is good since he won a National Championship as a player and now he is trying as a coach.”

With that said, McWilliams is still waiting on one particular offer that just might change the whole outlook of his recruitment.

“I’m originally from Louisiana. I love Patrick Peterson and I’ve always watched LSU. I would love to have a offer from them. But I’m open to whatever school. Everyone is even and I’m keeping my options open.”

The Georgia Athlete is being recruited at Corner back by the ‘Cats. Even though he’s only 170lbs, the 6’0 Athlete is very physical.

“I like being physical. I like watching Champ Bailey and Dion Sanders. I like being know for being physical.”

While he has not yet reached the collegiate level, McWilliams still wants to be the very best when he gets there.

“I want to win the award for being the best on defense. I wanna win the Lott (Best DB) trophy. I want to be a All-American and a All-Conference player. I want to win a National Championship too.”

While no decision is set, McWilliams will be a big time player if he so chooses the ‘Cats..
