A thief has allegedly stolen a ball signed by John Calipari from a charitable auction in Frankfort.
The auction Saturday night was for Family Abuse Service Incorporated.
According to WKYT.com:
“We offer them a safe haven when they’re running from abuse,” said Ann Morse.
To help raise money, the event had a silent auction, putting up basketball tickets, gift baskets, and a basketball signed by Coach John Calipari.
At the end of the night the man who had won the basketball, didn’t get to take it home.
“We went to pick up the Calipari-signed basketball and it was not to be found. It was there and then it was gone,” said Morse.
