A couple of months ago, Devontre Parnell was high on Kentucky. However, between then and now, something changed in his mind.
On Wednesday, Parnell chose Louisville over UK and NC State.
“Louisville offers me more,” he said by text. “Coach (Charlie) Strong has a good program and team. The coaching staff is also good.”
The 5-foot-11 defensive back is a 4-star and makes Charlie Strong’s third commitment in three days. The Cards’ aren’t done yet, though.
Offensive lineman Joe Manley is slated to make his decision sometime this week, and with UK having four lineman commitments, it is very possible for him to bolt for Louisville as well.
