Zach Gordon, a three-star tight end out of Carrollton, Georgia committed to Wake Forest yesterday. The Peach state product chose the ACC school over Kentucky, Stanford, and more.
Gordon was planning on deciding on National Signing Day, but after a recent trip to Wake, he decided to pull the trigger.
The 6-foot-4 225-pound tight end was ready to focus on his senior season and try accomplish his goal of a state championship.
The commit means that the Wildcats are now going after guys like Jay Jay McCollough and one that has no offer in Hunter Bowles.
The Wildcats do however have a sophomore as the starting tight end.
