We all knew Randall Cobb was an explosive talent…
He didn’t have to prove it to the Big Blue Nation….
He went ahead and proved it to Packer Nation and the World that he is the real deal last night.
2 touchdowns.
A NFL record for a 108 yard kick return.
All in a day’s work for the Alcoa, TN alum.
Now the question is: Did Kentucky underuse Randall Cobb?
Yes.
I keep thinking back to the Compass Bowl, and all Pittsburgh was worried about was stopping Randall Cobb….how were they going to stop the all-time leader in all-purpose yards in SEC history?
They didn’t have to….his own coaching staff did a great job of it themselves.
Randall Cobb, the same Randall Cobb that destroyed the New Orleans Saints last night, touched the football a total of 14 times in the Compass Bowl.
That includes 2 punt and 4 kickoff returns.
All this begs the question: Do we have the offensive minds on the Kentucky sidelines to turn this season’s offense around?
If the coaching staff couldn’t put Randall Cobb in the best situation for him to do what he does best….can they put a team with no playmakers in any position at all to make plays?
I for one, especially after watching Randall last night on the biggest stage, am really starting to wonder……
