The summer recruiting trail for the Kentucky Wildcats has been great for Joker Phillips and company
The Wildcats have picked up another summer commit in recently offered receiver Jevontey Smith, who was clocked at a 4.43 at the Wildcats summer camp in June.
Smith, who reigns from Alabama, had over 30 receptions a year ago for 623 yards at Greensboro High School.
But what makes Smith so special to me?
The future Wildcat is more of a big play guy, averaging 20 yards per reception, his longest one of 75 yards on a touchdown a season ago as a junior. Smith also compiled over 250 rushing yards and two touchdowns, with a long of 42 yards.
The Alabama native becomes the 12th commit of the 2013, and the first wide receiver of the class.
Smith’s only other offer was Middle Tennessee State.
