Fans to See More Replays

Every time I have ever went to a game in Commonwealth Stadium I have always wanted another replay to see if the referees missed a call or were just plain cheating Kentucky.

Now fans will get to see as many replays as you do on television.

Schools are no longer limited in the use of replays except when a stoppage occurs for an official review. In the past, the SEC had a one real-time replay policy for all plays in all sports.

During official reviews, stadium video boards will be permitted to show replays from the television network broadcasting the game. Video feed from the network can be shown only between the referee’s announcement to stop play for the review and his communication of the review’s outcome.

“The change in policy will allow our fans to see more of the action, including great plays and close calls,” SEC Commissioner Mike Slive said in a statement.
“Fans in the stadium now can see many of the same views of a play seen by fans watching on television. This should add to the overall game experience for fans inside our stadiums.”

I seriously don’t think the referees would cheat the Wildcats.

They just aren’t very good.
