This week’s edition of Cat Litter is dedicated to the roller coaster that we call Darius Miller.
His minutes fluctuate like Kirstie Alley’s weight at a Golden Corral, and I can’t figure out how you can go for 18 points vs Arkansas to not scoring in your next 2 games. In his last 2 games, he has played 22 total minutes, 0-3 from the field, 1 rebound, 3 assists, 3 turnovers and 4 fouls.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK] Darius is looking like a token in-state Kentucky starter. He just seems lost on occasion and Coach Cal has about lost his patience with him. He played 8 minutes yesterday vs. Vandy, and with Darnell Dodson starting and getting 16 points in 18 minutes, it looks like the heat is on Miller to start producing. You know Bledsoe is not going to stay out of the starting lineup for very long, and if Dodson keeps playing like he did today, Miller could be left out in the cold. I am a Darius fan, and if he is playing well then the Cats usually are playing well. If Darnell Dodson and DeAndre Liggins keep supplying the fuel for the fire though, then Darius could just be putting logs on the fire in a shortened non-existent role. As I have said before many times, WAKE UP DARIUS!!!
