They were playing 5 on 8!! The refs went to UT! They must live in Knoxville. We got cheated!!
I get so tired of hearing this from fans. Not just UK fans, but basketball fans in general. I know the officiating can effect a game and it can even change the way the game is played sometimes. I just know for a fact that the officials would not have changed the outcome of the Tennessee win over Kentucky. Here are some reasons:

[*]2-22 from the 3 point line. I don’t care if they called their own fouls, the Cats can not shoot like this to win basketball games.
[*]John Wall has 2 crucial turnovers in the last 75 seconds that you just can’t make. Wall makes a lot of turnovers, some of them unforced, and these really need to be minimized for the Cats to be consistent.
[*]The game is tied at 65 and Kentucky’s Darius Miller jacks up a 3?? Kentucky just could not get over the hump after the game was tied.
[*]Tennessee’s 2-3 zone. It looks like if the Cats can’t get it into the paint then we are going to struggle. Look for a regular dose of zone for the rest of the season.

The officiating is what it is. I just really get tired of Kentucky fans blaming the stripes for losses. It really gives other team’s fans ammunition to talk about our fan base. We lost, now we move on to Georgia. It is on the road so you can expect an absolute war, and the officiating will probably be the same as it was all year. It is just time to accept and move on. Go Cats!!
