Anthony Davis sat down with Pelicans.com in a piece they call “24 seconds with Anthony Davis” and he answered several questions about his upcoming trips to Chicago and Lexington for preseason games.
Here is what he said about coming back to Lexington, which included what he doesn’t like about coming back to the Big Blue Nation.
Pelicans.com: This is the second time over the last three preseasons that the Pelicans have played a game in Lexington. What do you like most about going there?
Davis: Just being back in Kentucky, playing on the floor again in Rupp Arena, having fun, seeing all the coaches there. Also seeing the upcoming Kentucky team and all of the fans.
Pelicans.com: What’s your least favorite aspect of it?
Davis: It can get crazy down there as far as the fan base. The fans are just crazy. People might ask, can I get a picture? And I’ll say no, I’m not taking pictures right now, I just want to chill. And they’ll get mad and go crazy. But I love Kentucky to death and it definitely played a huge part in my career and my progress as a player.
