It is no secret that Kobe Bryant is one of the most competitve players in the NBA.
He only cares about winning and the people that can help him get there and apparently, Julius Randle is one of those players.
For the second time in a week Kobe praised the former Wildcat.
This time, he said, “He’s Lamar Odom in a Zach Randolph body.”
Bryant had this to say about Randle’s play during the preseason game on Tuesday night.
“He was excellent,” Bryant said. “He played extremely hard. He played extremely well. He put the ball on the floor, he made plays, attacked the rim, offensive glass, moved his feet defensively. He was very sharp.”
If the young Randle can draw this type of praise from Kobe, one of the greatest of all time, then who knows how good he can be.
