Dear Kentucky Wildcats Men’s Basketball Team,
It’s the eve of the Sweet 16 and you guys have safely made it to Syracuse. There’s a lot of chatter on the Internet about the game you will need to play against Cornell in order to win; they’re the best 3 point shooting team in the country, they speed you up on defense but slow you down on offense, there are going to be more “Big Red” fans at the game than Big Blue fans, etc. Here is the message from the Nation of Blue: Play hard and have fun. You can’t lose regardless of the final score if you have a great time and give it 100% on the court.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
While we sit with much excitement waiting to see you all take the court against Cornell, we have been watching game highlights from this year. It’s simply amazing to watch the individual talent that each of you have and then see the magic of you putting it together on the court; and making it work! You all play very well together as a team and when someone is having an off game, someone steps up. That’s what makes a successful team; that’s what makes you all winners!
Anyhow, we know your busy with shoot around’s, watching game tapes and dealing with the media in preparation for the game. We wanted to write this quick letter to let you know that we are extremely excited and to let you know that regardless of the fan turn-out in the dome, there are hundreds of thousands of Kentucky Wildcat fans that will be sitting in their living room tomorrow night cheering you on as well. GO BIG BLUE!
Wishing you the best of luck,
Scott Z. and…
