De’Aaron Fox’s high school coach at Cypress Lakes High near Houston spoke to Jeff Greer of the Louisville Courier-Journal about Fox’s recent official visit to the University of Louisville.
He is also denying that John Calipari and the Wildcats are the favorites in Fox’s recruitment.
Olatunbosun said Fox will let his visit “marinate” in the coming days, but that they also got a feel for how Fox felt about the visit on the trip back home. And, as he did earlier this month, Olatunbosun rejected the notion that Kentucky – or any program, for that matter – is a favorite to sign Fox.
“When you wake up and look in the media, every time he’s going somewhere new,” Olatunbosun said. “First, it’s Texas. Now it’s UK. Next week, I don’t know, it’ll be Louisville. I think he’s truly going through the process.”
