It could not have been a more perfect day for a day like today. Rain and sleep. That is all that has happened at my house today. It is time to regroup and get ready for basketball recruiting, football, and of course the most important decisions of the off season. “Who is going to the NBA, and who isn’t?” will be on the minds of the entire Big Blue Nation.

[*]The players that really need to return are Eric Bledsoe and Daniel Orton. One more year for these 2 to develop is in their best interest. They are both sure fire lottery picks after next year and could possibly be in the Top 10.
[*]John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins, even though it would be unreal if they stayed, should not stay. You can not be picked higher than what these 2 will be picked in the Draft and it would be silly to think they actually would stay. I know they have both dodged the questions but now they will have to face them everyday until they make a decision. I just hope they make their choice based on what they want to do and what will make them the happiest.
[*]Tennessee lost and I didn’t watch it. I was asleep. The Volunteers are the only SEC team in which I could care less if they win or lose during tournament time.
[*]Tom Izzo, in my opinion, is the best college coach in America. His teams are the “Mariano Duncan” of the tournament as they are always there. You can bank on him always making a run with whatever he has sitting on his bench. Cats fans still might wonder if we made the right choice as Cal as our head coach, because Izzo was a possibility .
[*]I think Cal is and will always be the best man for our job. This team has fired up the Nation again and has everyone wanting more. Cal is the best salesman and Coach for a fanbase that loves to be a part of Kentucky Basketball. Let me make a correction to that statement, Kentucky fans are Kentucky Basketball and no one has realized this better than Coach John Calipari.
[*]Basketball Recruiting is in the spotlight now as Cal has to start figuring out what we need and who is leaving. We know for a fact the Cats are losing 3 players to graduation(Stevenson, Krebs, & Harris). I also think we are losing at least 2-3 more to the NBA Draft(Wall, Cousins, & Patterson). The wild cards are Bledsoe and Orton which makes the possibility of having to replace 6-8 players from an Elite 8 team.
[*]The Cats already have 2 recruits, Stacey Poole and Enes Kanter, to fill a couple of spots. Now I am guessing we get at least 4 more players to the roster next year.
[*]My guess is the Cats get at least Brandon Knight and CJ Leslie. The next two will probably come out of the following: Doron Lamb, Terrence Jones, Luke Cothron, Terrence Ross, and Gorgui Dieng.
[*]I was waiting around to post this article until the Duke game was over to hopefully have something good to write about, but I guess you know the outcome. Being able to shoot the basketball sure solves a lot of problems. Duke has shooters and any deficiencies they have are covered up because of this.
[*]As I have said before, Go Butler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Being at home to play the Final Four should be an unbelievable experience for Shelvin Mack, their 12 year old coach, and all of the Butler fans. I just wish we were there to enjoy the experience with them.
