ESPN released their updated SEC Power Rankings a couple of days ago and Kentucky is ranked right behind Missouri at #11.
11. Kentucky Wildcats (2-1): The loss to Florida was a heartbreaker. Many in Lexington believed this would be the year they broke the losing streak to Florida, but it wasn’t to be. That said, this is a competitive team in the SEC East. After beating South Carolina and having a chance to beat Florida, Kentucky has a compelling game against Mizzou next week. Despite the loss, Mark Stoops’ troops continue to show progress.
