Calipari gives Elisha Justice a call

According to the Louisville Courier-Journal’s recruiting expert Jody Demling, Kentucky head coach John Calipari give Shelby Valley point guard Elisha Justice a call Thursday evening.

Justice summarizing he and coach Calipari’s conversation:
”He said he had been watching my game films and he liked how I played,” Justice told The Courier-Journal. “I don’t know right now, he told me to talk it over with my family. But he said I was the type of player he was looking for.”
Coach Calipari also told Justice that he was “expecting to lose a lot of guys,” and noted there would likely be a scholarship for the point guard.

Justice said Calipari told him to call him back soon.

Justice on the Louisville walk-on commitment:
”I really like Louisville though,” Justice said. “I feel like that is the better fit for me, right now.”
You better bet that his family and friends at school will pressure him into going to UK if he is indeed offered a scholarship.

Also, for those of you that do not know, Elisha wants to coach college basketball in the future. That’s why he committed to walk-on at Louisville, because of how well coach Pitino has developed some of his players into coaches (i.e. John Pelphrey, Travis Ford, etc.)
