The University of Kentucky has released an [B]official statement in relation to Rod Strickland’s alleged DUI arrest[/B] early Sunday morning.
DeWayne Peevy of UK Media Relations sent out a statement this morning:
[QUOTE]”This is a legal matter and we are still gathering information about the alleged incident. We take such allegations seriously and will handle appropriately once the facts are known.”[/QUOTE]
A DUI arrest is alarming under any circumstance, but in Strickland’s case, this is the fourth time he has faced such charges according to multiple sources. The last time he was arrested and charged with DUI was in 2001.
