At 5:50pm the number one player in the 2011 recruiting class gave a verbal commitment to go to UK. Michael Gilchrist said he really wanted to play for coach Calipari and he thought the UK fans were “Crazy”, and that is an exact quote. He called us Crazy (in a good way of course 😉 ).
He also spoke about his late father who passed away when he was two years old. Today just happens to be his fathers birthday. I’m sure his dad is very proud right now!
