6-7 Marcus Thornton will make his first official visit since reopening his recruiting this Thursday when he visits Alabama according to his coach. Thornton once was a Clemson signee but he got his release after Oliver Purnell left. He also has scheduled an official visit to Texas for next weekend. His coach said he will also take officials to Kentucky and Michigan. Thornton has visited Clemson several times and does remain a factor according to his coach. “There’s no need for him to go back (for a visit), Darron Rogers said. “He wants to see what else is out there. He’s already comfortable with Clemson. He’s trying to find somewhere that’s a good fit for him. I know Clemson is a good fit and there’s no way to rule them out. I don’t know if the others are a better fit.” Thornton’s father will join him on his visits.

Sounds like Marcus will visit every school and make his decision when he is ready. Makes you wonder if there will be a spot for Marcus at Kentucky, and that is probably why the Kentucky visit will be further down the line. Everyone is waiting to see how everything pans out.
