I spoke with Eloy Vargas earlier on facebook and I asked him a couple of questions about where he plans on visiting and the dates of those visits. Here are a couple of quotes.
When I asked him where he was going to visit he said, ” Arizona and Seattle as official visits, and probably Kentucky again but unofficial.” Eloy has already visited Kentucky back in August.
He also gave the dates of his official visits,” May 7&8 for Arizona and May 9&10 for Seattle University.”
The first question that popped in my head was why Seattle? Eloy said. “I know coach Cameron Dollar at Seattle and it is hard to ignore what they did with Charles Garcia this past season.” Charles Garcia is a 21 year old 6 foot 10 inch 230lb PF/C. He is currently projected as pick #16 in round #2 of the 2010 NBA Draft.
Nation of Blue will keep you up to date on Eloy’s recruiting process as I am going to stay in touch with him during his visits. It will hopefully be an interesting view of what goes on in a college visit.
