Who’s At The Derby Party? If It Was Terrence Jones You Would Know It!

It’s officially Derby Day Saturday and we still don’t know where Terrence Jones is going to school? After Jones made is visibly uncomfortable decision for Washington, he quickly made a call to Coach Calipari and made it known that he’s not comfortable with his decision.

Now we’re all in a holding pattern waiting to find out what the outcome is going to be. Meanwhile back in the Bat cave, the coaching staff is snuggling up with one of the Jacksons, the Home Run King (cheater…my opinion) and the coolest seventy year old alive (Smokey Robinson, and yes I think he’s cool)

It’s like we’re all expecting parents (fathers obviously, we’re all to big of wimps to do the real work) pacing the floor while we wait for the nurse to come and tell us the great news. I can see it now, the nurse opens the door and everyone stops moving and eagerly anticipates the those words, “Kentucky Fans, it’s a Terrence Jones”! After all, we already have guards and a professional center. Someone that can play the four spot is just what we need to round out our happy little family.

[*]A letter of intent (LOI) was NOT signed

[*]Jones removed the tweet “I am a Huskie” that was sent our immediately after he made the announcement. For those of you that may not use twitter, deleting a tweet is something you do when you basically want a “do over” and act like that message never happened in the first place

[*]UK Assistant Coach Orlando Antigua sent out a tweet that read “till the battle is won. Lets go BBN”. It seems he’s a little happy about Jones having second thoughts.

[*]And there’s one thing for certain… “WASHINGTON IS PISS#$!!!” You better believe it! If you remember, Enes Kanter had already committed to Washington before he made the move to UK. This would be the second time this year that UK has stripped away one of their recruits after they had verbally committed.

So what does Coach Calipari think of all this? Well, it’s hard to know unless you were blessed enough to spend the night at the hottest Pre-Derby party in town. The coaching staff attended the “Poor Mans Derby Party” to support the family of slain Lexington police officer Bryan Durman.
