Now Calipari is Forcing Players Out? Get real…

Let’s say you held the opportunity for a youngster to make millions of dollars in your hand. Understanding the risks, do you send the youngster into the real world to make the millions or do you suggest they risk it for a few more years of development…that they would get while making millions? [PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

I’m with John Calipari on this one. As a parent, leader or coach it is your responsibility to do suggest what is in the best interest of the person you are guiding. Coach Cal is doing just that.

Some people are saying that Calipari forced players out, specifically DeMarcus Cousins. Kids that enter the NBA draft early may be missing out on the complete college experience but they can still get their education. They may miss out of some additional years of development by a college coaching staff, but they are going to get plenty from a professional staff. All the while they will be living their childhood dreams and earning more money than a lot of people can even fathom.

Coach Cal, keep doing your thing. DeMarcus, good luck in the NBA. Anything else is just pure selfishness.
