It looks like Australian Isaac Humphries, who is currently on a visit to Kentucky, reportedly could reclassify to 2015 and join the Wildcats roster this season.
This from Kentucky.com:
The 7-footer from Australia played the final half of this past season with La Lumiere (Ind.) after moving to the United States in December. He is currently a class of 2016 prospect but is not expected to return to La Lumiere for the upcoming season.
It’s possible that he could play college basketball instead, and UK would be the most likely destination if that happens.
Brad Johnstin — a former assistant coach at La Lumiere — has been helping Humphries with his recruitment, and he told the Herald-Leader on Friday afternoon that the high school player has been taking summer classes and participating in individual workouts.
Johnstin did not confirm that Humphries is pursuing a move to the class of 2015.
This is big news if it happens as the Kentucky frontcourt depth will grow substantially.
