College Assistant Coach May Have Leaked Bledsoe Transcripts

In case you didn’t know (but I’m sure you do) Kentucky Sports Radio and Matt Jones have done an exceptional job following the Bledsoe story. Last night, Matt posted an article stating that one of his sources told him that a college assistant coach was responsible for leaking Bledsoe’s transcripts to the Media. Jones then proceeded to challenge the members of the main stream media find this assistant coach.

Why is this a big deal? First of all, it’s a huge violation of Bledsoe’s privacy. Secondly, there’s an ethical/moral issue with the coach that actually did this.

Then you have to question the motive. Is all of this because everyone despises Calipari and his success?

Matt also states that he has a good idea of the name of the coach who leaked the transcripts. Actually, I think a good number of UK fans know, but we’ll have to wait for some more info before we’ll post it here on NofB (If it’s not 100%, this is the kind of stuff that could put us out of business 😉

Now here’s the best part… We’ve all watched the main stream media take shots at our Coach and program for the last five days. Today, there’s a transcript story that is more significant than Bledsoe taking rent money (so he’s not sleeping on a bench mind you). The question is, “will the main stream media uphold their responsibility as journalist to find out who violated the privacy of an 18yr old kid?” If the media wasn’t thinking about it before, I’m sure they are now.

Here’s the challenge Mr. Jones laid out to the “mainstream” media…
