John Wall announces via twitter that he will be signing a deal with Reebok. Many fans are asking “what is this guy doing”? Many thought he would have followed in Lebron’s footsteps and signed a deal with Nike. He will replace Allen Iverson as the face of the brand.
Instead of being a small fish in a big pond, Wall has jumped to the most marketable athlete for Reebok to date. Wall will inevitably be the number 1 pick in this year’s NBA Draft. Wall will join Yao Ming, Brevin Knight, and a host of no name players from around the league.
Allen Iverson had a line of shoes named “The Answer” (his nickname). Makes you wonder what Wall’s shoe will be called (just leave it in the comments).
