In a live interview with Linda Cohn on SportsCenter today, Willie Cauley-Stein explained what it’s like being in Chicago this week for the NBA Combine. He said the team interview process has been grueling and some of the questions he’s been asked are very bizarre. One team asked him, “How many basketballs can fit in this room?” He responded by standing up and holding an imaginary basketball and trying to estimate from there. Odd.
Cauley-Stein also talked about what it’s like being compared to Tyson Chandler, DeAndre Jordan and Joakim Noah as he prepares to enter the league. He said it’s great to be thrown in at that level of play, but it’s hard to say what he is capable of doing once he can finally devote his entire time to getting better as a professional.
And then the big question: Has he gotten over the Wisconsin loss?
We do too, We really do..
