I was just browsing around the internet and ran across some tweets that Tom Izzo alledgedly called Coach Cal last week. The call could have been for nothing more than to get some advice on moving from the college ranks to coaching in the NBA. Besides, Izzo is the top choice for the Cavaliers opening to te best of our knowledge.

As I read those tweets (and retweet after retweet after retweet) I started wondering what the phone conversation sounded like.
Riiiiinnnnngggg, Riiiinnnnnnnnnnggggg!!!!

Hello Coach Cal speaking.
Hey Coach, this is Coach Izzo. WASSSSSUUUUPPPPP!!!
Hey Tom, not much going down, just chillin in the Bluegrass. Funny you called though, I was just wondering what a UK vs. Michigan State game would have looked like in the NCAA championship last year.
That would have been the shahizzle for sure Cal! Anyway, I wanted to ask you a couple of questions about the NBA. As you know, I am the front runner for the Cavaliers head coach spot.
Yeah that’s what I heard. Did I mention that I was chillin in the Bluegrass? These fans are crazy here!
Yeah you already mentioned that. Anyway, do you think I should take the job?
Muuwwwwwaaaaaaahhhhhhaaaahhhhaaaaa!! (Cal laughs to himself).Well Tom, you know coaching in the NBA is like the difference between Bluegrass and fescue. Although many coaches moving from college to the NBA don’t have a tremendous amount of success, you would be the exception to that rule.
If they offered it to you, would you take it?
Tom, the grass might be greener on the other side for you. Did I mention how crazy these fans were in Kentucky?
Cal, you’re not being much help out all.
Tom, I’ve got to go. I am leading some camps this month, I’ve got to tape some Public Service Announcements and I think I’ve got to go and help design the 2010-2011 Coach Cal edition Mustang. Talk to you later. Coach Cal hang’s up the phone.
What do you think the phone conversation would have went like?
