One thing was clear at last weekend’s EYBL, you better have extra rims on hand when Udoka Azubuike comes to town. The Kentucky target nearly destroyed Kentucky Basketball Academy rims on center court and court 3 in earlier games. Unfortunately the backboard on court 4 didn’t fare as well. Azubuike caused a delay in the game after the goal collapsed under the power and weight of his nearly 270 pound frame. Video does not do his dunks justice. Having stood beneath one I can tell you he not only rocks the goal, but I believe the earth actually moves. Perhaps a slight exaggeration, but you get the idea. As punishing as he is on the court, he is equally charming off of it. Remind you of another big guy we know?
