Last week we told you about the upcoming battle between Demarcus Cousins and Derrick Favors. This week we’ll have the opportunity to confirm that Derrick Favors needs to find a new agent. Why does he need a new agent?…It’s simple, agreeing to play against Cousins did nothing but hurt Favors. When it was all over, it was obvious to everyone, that Cousins is the better player.

The remaining time was spent on drills, from catch and shoot jumpers, to pick and pops, to post moves and transition sprints.
If one had to judge — and I don’t think this is the setting or the sample size to really change an opinion off of — Cousins won the matchup yesterday, being the more polished perimeter player and displaying better footwork. After watching Sunday’s “Outside The Lines” segment, I think it’s obvious that many owners are falling in love with Cousins and that includes his attitude (you can watch the OTL segment here).
Here’s the post-workout interview…..
John Thompson had the NBA Draft quote of the year when he told everyone why he would take Cousins in the draft… “You can calm down a fool before you can resurrect a corpse”. We’ll just have to wait and see how everything turns out on Thursday (NBA Draft), but I wouldn’t be surprised if Cousins goes at the #3 spot and possibly #2…. Just Saying
