The new ESPNU Top 100 is out today and as you can figure there are alot of Kentucky recruits scattered throughout the Top 30. Mike Gilchrist stays firm at #1, while Marquis Teague is listed at #3. Quincy Miller is at #4, and rounding out the top 10 is LeBryan Nash. 6’10” Center Johnny O’Bryant is next at #17, Tony Wroten Jr. comes in at #24, and Michael Chandler stands at #27. The lone Kentucky high school player in the Top 100 is Chane Behanan, who is listed at #73.
Now i am sure Kentucky will be interested in other recruits and might already be taking looks at others, but these are the ones that really stuck out. I am sure Kentucky will get several of these guys, if not all. Depending on the need and who leaves for the draft next year will be a contributing factor every year with a Calipari team. The recruiting season is getting almost as exciting at the regular season! I guess that is what happens when John Calipari is your head coach!!
