Continuing our Year in Review series, today we take a look at John Wall in his first game as a Kentucky Wildcat. All camera’s were on Wall and he did not disappoint. He was only 4-9 from the field, which included the last second game winner, and was 10-14 from the free throw line. He immediately showed his athleticism and it paid off from the start of his short collegiate career.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
In the first two games of the season, the mass production came from the back court. Wall was unable to play against Morehead State, their first opponent, but Eric Bledsoe played the PG spot well during the outing. However John’s debut as a Wildcat having been the top scorer for the Cats and the last second shot couldn’t have been planned better.
Here is a NOB exclusive video with John Wall highlights against Miami (OH).
