John Wall, I feel like that is all I have to say. Wall had a very good debut in the Summer League as he had 24 points on 7-15 shooting, was 10-11 from the free throw line, and dished out 8 dimes. He did have 8 turnovers, but most of those were from going too fast when he really didn’t need to be. I am sure the nerves were flowing and you could really tell early on he was pressing. The thing I noticed is how much he made me care if the Wizards won or not. Being a point guard makes Wall the leader of the team, and you could tell his teammates trusted him already. Wall is a leader and you could tell that this early in his NBA career. When you have oohs and aahs on plays where he didn’t even score, then you know someone is special. John Wall is special and I already miss him. Brandon Knight has really big shoes to fill, that is for sure.
