David Scott, editor at CoachCal.com, writes “The Story That Won’t Be Written” so we thought we’d help him get it out by writing it again. The reality is since he has already written it, we don’t have much to write. But that’s alright because it is still good information from Coach Cal that needs to get out. So here is the super powerful voice of Nation of Blue spreading the word.

Who am I fooling, we don’t have enough readers to have any real impact in getting his message out. It’s still our duty as Kentucky fans to try. So here are the quotes from Coach Cal:

What the APR numbers do is tell a story. It’s a story Coach John Calipari is quite happy sharing with anyone who cares to listen.
“It’s hard to argue with our numbers,” said Coach Calipari, shortly before Wednesday night’s Camp Canada session. “The last four years at Memphis, we had a 974 and during our time there we averaged just under a 950. Our first year at Kentucky, which we essentially ‘inherited’ from the prior staff, was a respectable 922, but we expect to see that number rise considerably in the upcoming report.”
Coach Cal’s final year’s APR at Memphis was 980, according to the NCAA.
But it’s about more than numbers and Coach Cal is quick to point that out, too.
“Do you realize how many young men I’ve had the pleasure of seeing become the first college graduate in their family?” he said. “Do you know how hard they had to work to get to that point? Nothing makes me prouder or happier than seeing our guys receive their diploma.
“You see entire families crying and Ellen and I are right there crying along with them. There’s nothing more powerful than that. Those moments will be etched in my mind forever.”[/quote]
