It’s well documented by now, that The University of Washington’s fan base, and probably it’s coaching staff, isn’t on the Kentucky Wildcat’s bandwagon, at least not the positive side.
The Enes Kanter situation and then the drawn out love affair and eventual loss of Terrence Jones, left a bad taste in the mouth of Huskies fans.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
Well, Jay Bilas has a thought for all of the U-Dub’bers out there who just can’t seem to get past the loss of Terrence Jones…
”One thing that no Huskies fan should do is lament the absence of Terrence Jones. For some odd reason, people talk about Jones like he was a Washington player that got kidnapped by Kentucky. The truth is that young man was never betrothed to Washington, and if he was that easy to get away from U-Dub, he was never going to be in with both feet, anyway,”
I couldn’t agree more Jay. As a Coach and a program, you’re going to win some and you’re going to lose some. In this instance, it appears the Cats got the better end of the stick, but trust me when I tell you Kentucky will be on the greasy end with a recruit at some point.
It’s just inevitable, well maybe not…
Go Cats!!!
