Twice now, John Calipari has put out the bait and reeled in the Top Recruiting class in the country. 2009 was an easy lock with the No. 1 and 2 Players in the nation signing, 2010 was similar as Calipari had 5 Top 35 prospects ink their names to a UK scholarship, including two in the Top 10 in Knight and Kanter.
2011 doesn’t appear to be any different. A pattern Kentucky fans love but Coach’s at rival schools like Duke, North Carolina and Louisville aren’t exactly saying goo goo over… Calipari already has three verbal commitments from Top 10 propsects in Michael Gilchrist (No. 1), Marquis Teague (No. 5) and Anthony Davis (No. 8).

All three are locked top 10 when the final standings comes out. The difference may be that Davis could move to No. 1 which would move Gilchrist to 2 and Teague to 6. Oh what a problem to have…

A BUZZ that started with the hiring of John Calipari has turned into a full roar as the Cats continue to pull the top talent into the Big Blue Nation.
Maybe that $200k to Davis will be worth it…. Just kidding folks. Ridiculous statements and accusations proves one very simple thing, Kentucky’s back on top again…
