Kiel Turpin, son of the late Melvin Turpin, has committed to Florida State University this evening. Kiel has done a recruiting journal for the Nation of Blue and has been a great kid that I have go to know pretty well. I love for any kid who has gone what he has gone through over the last couple of months get what he wants. Florida State also has a coach with Kentucky ties, Leonard Hamilton, who was an assistant coach under Joe B. Hall while Melvin played in Lexington. Good luck Kiel, we will be rooting for you!!
