Where’s the Love, Tony Wroten?

Coast2coastrecruiting is reporting on Tony Wroten’s in-home visit with Rick Pitino. Evidently the visit went well. Really well. So well, that Tony is now “…excited about the possiblity of playing together…” with some of the boys from the ‘Ville. Oh sure, he still lists UK in his top 5 (Washington, Louisville, UK, Villanova and UConn), but his dad did state in the article that they want him recruited as a PG. You may remember we recruited the #1 PG in the class already in Marquis Teague, so Wroten would probably function more as a 2 guard if he were to come to Kentucky.

All of that is not to say that Wroten won’t come and add to the already stellar 2011 recruiting haul. Most pundits believe that if Calipari adds any more recruits to that class, it will be a guard because he’s already got 3 forwards committed. However, if Wroten HAS to be the PG, Cal may have his sights set on someone else… say, 4-star SG Trevor Lacey maybe? We shall see.
