John Wall Just Misses Double-Double in First NBA Action

Former Kentucky star John Wall just missed a double-double in his first real NBA action, a 97-94 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

Wall put in 21 points, 9 assists and 4 steals in 36 minutes of action. He was 6-14 from the field and 9-11 from the free throw line. Wall only had 2 turnovers.

The former Wildcat put on a show in the third quarter, highlighted by a 35-foot alley-oop pass to Javale McGee, who dunked on Brian Cardinal for an impressive “And 1”. Wall laughed after the play.
