Over the last two weeks, John Wall and Rajon Rondo have owened the NBA headlines with their performances on the court. What you may have not known, was that Eric Bledsoe has moved into a starting role, led the Clippers to their first win, and has the Clippers shopping their star point guard Baron Davis.
Here’s an excerpt from nesn.com..
He didn’t start his offseason conditioning program until August — something new coach Vinny Del Negro wasn’t too psyched about. To make matters worse, Davis is out of the lineup with a knee injury, and his understudy, rookie Eric Bledsoe, has looked NBA-ready despite being just 20 years old.
On Friday in Denver, Bledsoe scored 12 points and handed out 13 assists on over 50 percent shooting. Add it all up, and the Clippers are reportedly shopping their star point guard, according to Marc Spears.
Of course, finding suitors for Baron’s $42 million dollars and three years remaining on his contract will prove quite difficult — if not impossible.
