Word had been swirling around that 4-star Findlay Prepster Winston Shepard had narrowed his list and Kentucky was not on it. Two sources are reporting today that that is not the case. Both [URL=”http://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/barrier_noentry.asp?ReturnTo=&sid=&script=content.asp&cid=1160669&fid=&tid=&mid=&rid=”]Rivals[/URL] and [URL=”http://twitter.com/TDaveyTSR/status/10539652750512128″]TSR[/URL] are reporting that the 2012 small forward is still wide open in his recruitment, and UK is still very much a part of it.
Shepard is #36 overall according to Rivals and #53 overall according to Scout. Aside from Kentucky, his current list of schools includes UNLV, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Oklahoma St, Kansas, Louisville and Memphis. He does not hold an offer from UK at this time.
