Jerry Tipton of KentuckySports.com says that Calipari didn’t sound too optimistic about Enes Kanter’s eligibility. “The last caller into John Calipari’s radio show Monday night asked if the Kentucky coach could give her reason to hope the NCAA will declare Enes Kanter eligible. Calipari did not sound optimistic.” It’s the single hottest topic in UK Sports and everyone is wanting closure.

The most interesting information came at the end of the article when it’s said that Kanter could sue the NCAA to get a temporary injunction which would invalidate the NCAA Ruling.
But, Calipari added, “I’ve not talked to him about getting an injunction.”
The notion of sueing the NCAA seems far fetched and although I am not an attorney, it seems that it would be fruitless. If the NCAA doesn’t provide a favorable ruling in round two, I think they go for the formal appeal and call it quits regardless of the outcome. Kanter is going to the NBA and at some point the efforts spent trying to get him playing time in college will become wasted effort.
That is however some new new’s on the Enes Kanter case. It’s not the news you were waiting for so keep frantically searching and let us know if you see anything positive.
