Here’s my AP Top 25 Ballot for this week:

1. Duke (15-0) *1 – The Blue Devils took care of UAB and then squeezed past Maryland in Durham on Sunday night.

2. Ohio State (16-0) *2 – Jared Sullinger had 24 points and a dozen boards in a win against Iowa and David Lighty led the Buckeyes with 19 in a 67-64 victory in Columbus over Minnesota.

3. Kansas (15-0) *3 – The Jayhawks beat up on UMKC and then needed overtime to get past Michigan out in Ann Arbor.

4. San Diego State (17-0) *4 – The Aztecs won a pair on the road – against TCU and Utah – to remain undefeated. Malcolm Thomas averaged 17.5 points in the two victories.

5. Syracuse (16-0) *5 – The Orange pulled away at Seton Hall as Kris Joseph and Brandon Triche both finished with 15 in the win.

6. Pittsburgh (15-1) *6 – Gilbert Brown scored 19 in a close win at Providence and Ashton Gibbs finished with 19 at home in a victory against Marquette.

7. UConn (12-2) *7 – The Huskies lost in South Bend against Notre Dame, but Kemba Walker hit the game-winner in the final seconds to pick up a huge road win at Texas.

8. Notre Dame (14-2) *12 – The Irish had a good week with home wins against UConn and St. John’s. Ben Hansbrough averaged 23.5 points in the two games.

9. Villanova (14-1) *9 – The Wildcats swept wins at South Florida and at home against previously unbeaten Cincinnati. Corey Stokes had 22 down in Tampa and Corey Fisher finished with 22 against the Bearcats.

10. Missouri (14-2) *8 – Kim English went for 20 in a rout over North Alabama, but he was just 2-of-10 and finished with seven points in a loss in Boulder to Colorado.

11. Texas (12-3) *10 – The Longhorns blasted Arkansas, but lost on a last-second **** by Kemba Walker to UConn in Austin. Jordan Hamilton averaged 18 in the two games. State.

12. Kentucky (12-3) *11 – The Wildcats got 24 points and 10 boards from freshman Terrence Jones, but still came up short in Athens against Georgia.

13. BYU (16-1) *15 – JImmer Fredette had 39 as the Cougars finally won in Las Vegas and Fredette added 22 in a victory over Air Force.

14. Texas A&M (14-1) *14 – The Aggies continued their winning streak with their 11[SUP]th[/SUP] straight against a poor Oklahoma team out in Norman.

15. Purdue (15-1) *16 – The Boilermakers reeled off two more – against Penn State and Iowa. Ryne Smith continues to play well, scoring 20 and 18 in the two games.

16. Illinois (13-3) *17 – Six guys were in double-figures in a pounding over Northwestern in what was the lone game for the Illini this past week.

17. Temple (11-3) *21 – The Owls got a double-double from Michael Eric (14 points, 11 rebounds) in a win over Fordham and beat Saint Louis despite being without Juan Fernandez (ankle).

18. Washington (12-3) *23 – The Huskies lost Abdul Gaddy for the season with a torn ACL, but rolled in wins against Oregon and Oregon State. Terrence Ross had 25 against Oregon and Matthew Bryan-Amaning finished with 24 points and 15 boards in the win over the Beavers.

19. Wisconsin (12-3) *24 – The Badgers took care of Michigan as Jordan Taylor had 20 in their only game of the week.

20. Central Florida (14-1) *13 – After beating Marshall in an emotional game for ex-Thundering Herd coach Donnie Jones, the Knights lost their first game of the year at Houston.

21. Georgia (12-2) *NR – The Bulldogs only losses came in Orlando against a pair of Top 25 teams: Notre Dame and Temple – and Trey Thompkins was far less than 100 percent. Mark Fox’s team gets in the poll after a home win over Kentucky.

22. Saint Mary’s (14-2) *NR – The Gaels lone two losses came to a pair of Top 15 teams: San Diego State and BYU.

23. Minnesota (12-4) *22 – The Gophers got past Indiana and came up just short in Columbus against No. 2 Ohio State. Trevor Mbakwe continues to produce as he averaged 13 points and 14 boards in the two games.

24. Gonzaga (11-5) *NR – The ‘Zags, despite a handful of losses, jump back in after a 74-61 win over Portland. Wins against Baylor, Xavier, Oklahoma State and Marquette get Mark Few’s team back in the Top 25.

25. Georgetown (12-4) *18 – The Hoyas dropped another one, this time at home against West Virginia. Chris Wright struggled with just nine points on 3-of-13 shooting.
