It’s halftime and the Cats lead LSU 48-19. Brandon Knight leads all scorers with 13. Liggins has 10, followed by Miller (9), Jones (8) and Lamb (6). Other stats of note include Harrellson with 9 rebounds already, Jones with 7 and Knight with 4. Lamb is the assist leader with 4, Hood and Liggins each have 2. Foul situation is acceptable as only Harrellson and Miller have 2 fouls.
The Cats are shooting 47% from the field (58% from 3-pt range) – while LSU is shooting only 18% (8% from 3-pt range, only hitting 1 of 12). The rebound battle goes to the Cats in the first half 26-16, as do assists (9-2), blocks (6-2) and steals (5-1). I guess the only thing LSU is getting more than Kentucky is turnovers (9-5).
If the Cats can hang on to beat LSU, that will leave no team in the SEC undefeated in conference play (Florida and Alabama both lost today).
