Former Kentucky star Patrick Patterson was rushed to the hospital with chest pains tonight.

Team spokesman Bob Schranz said Patterson left in an ambulance before the start of the third quarter. Schranz added that Patterson, the NBA’s No. 14 overall draft pick, was experiencing flulike symptoms before the game.
According to Schranz, the medical staff at Philips Arena sent Patterson to the hospital because it was thought he needed to undergo more tests.
